Ellie Chocolate Lab the Dog needs a home
Ellie is extremely sweet and affectionate. She loves attention and to follow her people around. She is high energy and has some manners to work on. She could benefit from obedience training once fully recovered. She is not a dog companion, but will interact with her foster sibling on occasion. No cats or birds. Not recommended in a home with small children, she can get overly excited and become a bit mouthy and jumpy. Her favorite thing is to eat and pull stuffing out of toys. Ellie has a slight case separation anxiety and does not like to be left alone for a long amount of time. She is housebroken and crate trained. If you are looking for a good companion, Ellie is your girl!
Unfortunately, Ellie came to us heartworm positive. She was treated for her heartworms on 1/30 and will need to remain calm and restricted from exercise for the next 6 to 7 weeks. She will be tested again in 6 months to determine if she is cleared of heartworms.
